The Medical Administrative Assistant program consists of 16 weeks of training. The program includes didactic, laboratory, and externship instruction. The program prepares students with the knowledge and skills required to work as an entry-level Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Executive Assistant, and Medical Secretary. Health care practitioners rely on skilled administrative staff for the financial health of their business CMAA qualifies for employment in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, dental offices, and private provider offices, as well as county and government offices. Graduates will also be eligible to sit for the NHA Medical Administrative Assistant Certification Exam.
