Because of licensure and rigid programmatic university accreditation requirements associated with elementary education, the Kansas State Board of Regents approved a Systemwide Elementary Education PK-6 Transfer Associate Degree. If a student successfully completes the requirements for the Elementary Education PK-6 Transfer, at least 60 credit hours will transfer and apply toward the completion of specific requirements in the baccalaureate degree in elementary education.
