The Well Construction Technology Program provides classroom and laboratory instruction in the use of rotary drilling and related equipment used in drilling for water, petroleum, and environmental/geo-technical operations. Classroom study covers the rotary rig, power equipment, mechanical maintenance, drilling fluids, hydraulics, and other areas associated with well drilling operations.
