The Medical Office Coding diploma prepares students for in-demand careers in medical coding, billing, and reimbursement. Students learn inpatient and outpatient coding guidelines, business office practices, privacy regulations, how to navigate through an electronic health record, and other medical office procedures. After finishing the program, grads are able to take the national Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam through AHIMA.
