The mission of the Automotive Technology Program is to prepare the student for employment opportunities in the automotive field. Skills taught in this program include: brakes, steering and suspension, transmissions and drive trains, engine repairs, engine performance and air conditioning. Students spend 60% in hands-on training while the remainder of the class focuses on theory.
