Through the study of imaginative literature, English majors pursue a rigorous academic program emphasizing the linguistic, literary, creative, and analytical. The 36-hour major includes Introduction to Literary Study, Literary Theory, Senior Thesis I and II, and 27 hours of literature electives (21 upper level, 6 British literature). Secondary Education (7-12) licensure is available.
