Wayne State College
Human Services is a baccalaureate degree program, housed in the Counseling Department, designed to prepare undergraduate students to work in the helping professions. The program is built on a strong foundation of psychology and sociology to develop understanding of individuals and the influence of social interaction. Human Services theory and skills enable students to work with people toward functional ways of meeting their needs. The program is based on the philosophy of empowerment of clients.
