Digital Earth
University of North Alabama
This class is designed to introduce students to innovative geospatial technologies and applications. Hands-on experience will be used to explore how computer-based tools and techniques are used to capture, store, process, visualize, and display the Earth. Using specialized computer software and web-based platforms, students will examine how insights provided by digital analysis of spatial data are used to solve local, regional, national, and global problems and make sound decisions.
