Topics in Advanced Japanese Linguistics

Tthe second sequence of Japanese Linguistics. Students will examine a topic chosen from a Japanese linguistics area (such as morphology, syntax, psycholinguistics) in depth through original Japanese language data, journal articles, and some fieldwork. Assignments include readings, hands-on problem solving and analysis of raw-Japanese language data and class discussion. Readings and assignments will be in Japanese and English.
